She’s the toast of the music industry and the hottest talent around. Introducing our stunning December cover star, Rihanna. We caught up with the Rude Boy superstar to talk about surviving the bad times, learning to love her imperfections, and how she is happier and stronger than ever.
In the issue Rihanna talks about moving on & being happy again:
“I feel like I smile for real this time. The smiles come from inside, and it exudes in everything I do. People feel my energy is different. When I smile they can tell that it’s pure bliss and not just a cover up.”
She also talks about her wake up call:
“I needed that wake-up call in my life. I needed a turning point, and that’s what God was giving to me. All this terrible stuff they say to you, it breaks you down. [But] once you’re back on your feet – if you ever make it back on your feet – that’s the ultimate achievement.”
Rihanna also talks about her breakup with Chris Brown:
“Eventually, I remember waking up one day and I knew I was over it. One day, I remember I was in New York at the Trump Hotel and I woke up and I just knew I was over it.”

I absolutely know in life we all grow out of something just to grow right back into being happy again. Life is always throwing curve balls at us. The question is are we willing to face things head on. Or do we just dodge the curve balls. Never learning from our mistakes. Mistakes are nothing more then lessons that allow us to gain maturity as we age. True wisdom comes from being in a bad place in life. Without mistakes how would we learn and grow as individuals you can’t.
