* 1 volumizing nousse (if your hair is fine)

* 1 curling iron

* 1 flat, paddle brush

* 1 blow dryer

Step 1: The Color

 

Jennifer Aniston’s sun-kissed hair color is her signature statement; her style is quite simple. Golden highlights brighten her brunette hair, while beach blonde streaks frame her face. If your hair is a dark blonde to medium brown, you’ve got the perfect base for Jen’s color; simply add a few highlights or a gloss for shine. If yours is a medium brown or darker, you’ll need to lighten your base to a golden brown and then add blonde highlights on top of that.

Starting about an inch from the ends of the hair, wrap the hair around the barrel, away from the face. Leaving the ends of the hair out of the barrel creates a more natural curl, not a tight ringlet.

America’s favorite friend never looks like she’s trying too hard. Run your hands under your hair and gently tousle the hair at the root. Now you’ve got a look that’s California-chic, just like Jennifer Aniston.
