After years of heartfelt ballads and impeccable hair, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens have ended heir relationship, E!Online reports. The couple met while filming the first installment of Disney mega-hit ‘High School Musical’ and began their romance shortly thereafter.

A source tells that the split was “amicable,” after the stars recognized that their relationship “wasn’t going to go further.”

Although the couple appeared affectionate toward one another throughout their relationship, there were signs that trouble was brewing.

Earlier this year, while promoting ‘Charlie St. Cloud,’ 23-year-old Efron told Details , “Believe me, I rack my brain thinking, ‘Why am I not out there playing the field?’ One of my buddies was like, ‘You have no idea what’s going on right now.

You’re peaking on Ecstasy and you’re watching TV.’ But it’s not in my heart.”

Summary: Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens are extremely young still. As life always deals us cards. Some of those cards are not strong enough to play out. You have to know when to hold ’em, and know when to fold ’em, and know when to walk away! Just like the old song says.

At some point in life we all experience a heartache from a big break up as these two celebrities.

Still rather young and self discovery is so important in life. We all have to branch off and discover who we are as individuals. Although they make a lovely couple it is always sad to see two people who made a fabulous couple, break up.

With the Holidays around the corner. I know has to be a tuff one.

I am sure they both will move on and continue to enjoy their youth! After all life is about finding yourself.
