Singer Jessica Simpson Loses 20 lbs. In 2 Months

Jessica Simpson is looking as fabulous as ever, but she’s definitely carrying a few pounds less. Amidst talk that she’s on her way to her former fit and toned figure, comes a report saying she lost 20 pounds in less than 2 months.

Anything Hollywood notes that Simpson is looking thinner than she did a short while ago, which means her new diet and workout routine are paying off.

“Simpson has definitely slimmed down a lot. We have been writing about Jessica wanting to shed pounds before her actual wedding, if that’s true, looks like mission accomplished!” the e-zine says.

On the other hand, knowing that Simpson is now working out with no other than Tracy Anderson, whose celebrity clients also include the likes of Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow, that she lost weight is not that much of a surprise.

What is surprising though is learning that she dropped about 20 pounds in less than 2 months, as this blog writes, citing the print issue of Star magazine.

“She looks incredible. You can really see the difference in her face in that it looks thinner and more angular. Star Magazine estimates that she’s lost 20 pounds in a couple of months already, and it’s definitely possible,” CB writes.

“We know she’s been working out and dieting, although she’s trying to downplay how important it is to her. Good for her for getting healthy for her wedding, which may or may not happen soon,” the blogger adds.

Admittedly, Jessica has worked hard to lose the weight: she’s on a 1,600-calorie diet (which most certainly means no junk food, which she loves so much) and works out up to six times a week.

Photos of her coming and leaving the gym are available online and their sheer number should confirm that, indeed, she does spend a lot of time there.

Anderson has her doing 100-minute sessions of cardio and strength training, in a bid to help her get back in top shape for the wedding, it is being said.

Whatever the reason Jessica has decided to lose weight by working out more, it’s good to see it’s working.
