Tony Romo Marries Long Time Girlfriend Candice Crawford

29 May

Dallas Cowboys quarterback, Tony Romo, married his long-time girlfriend Candice Crawford on Saturday evening, according to People. The ceremony took place at the historic mansion, Arlington Hall, in Dallas where Cowboys players from past and present (Troy Aikman, Roger Staubach, Dez Bryant and Miles Austi) helped celebrate the couple’s official union.

Crawford works as an anchor for the station and was also a former Miss Missouri, but most people would likely recognize her as being the real-life little sister to Gossip Girl’s Chace Crawford. Crawford met Romo in 2009 only two months after he dumped Jessica Simpson.

The wedding menu consisted of short ribs and pizza, according to their wedding planner Todd Fiscus. Yeah, keeping it real classy all right. Fiscus, who worked on Giants quarterback Eli Manning’s wedding too, told CBS, “We did lots of man food. I have a lot of football players to feed.”

The wedding planner also dished to WFAA-TV that Romo chose the music saying, “Tony picked out every song, and when it plays, and what the keynote things are.”

The couple got engaged last December when Romo, 31, proposed to Crawford on her 24th birthday.
