Here is the look created by Revlon’s Global Artistic Director, Gucci Westman for Temperley at London Fashion Week AW 2011 on Sunday February 19th 2011.
“Alice Temperley is a stylish, successful woman, she was the perfect inspiration and loves a red lip. I also wanted to compliment the beautiful muted palette of the collection and the Venetian theme so created a confident bright red lip using Just Bitten Lip Stain and a strong purple smokey eye. I love the combination of red and purple for a look that is chic, expensive and powerful”

Temperley London celebrates its 10th anniversary year in 2011 with its namesake creative director, Alice Temperley, MBE, heading up the House of Temperley with a design signature that has made her one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary British fashion.
Alice Temperley’s timeless, feminine designs combine meticulous detail and embellishments with an English eccentricity and personality drawing on everything British; Temperley is the modern day ‘Cool Britannia’.
Following the success of the launch collection in 2000 at London Fashion Week, the first Temperley London boutique opened in 2001 on Colville Mews in Notting Hill, London where the head office and design rooms are still situated.
This year sees the first year anniversary of ALICE by Temperley, a contemporary sister line created to fulfill a need for an everyday Temperley look in a more accessible market.
Bridal has grown to be an important part of the Temperley offering after the first bridal dresses were created following Alice’s own wedding to Lars Von Bennigsen, the CEO of Temperley Ltd, in 2002. There are now exclusive Bridal Salons in the London Mews and Los Angeles, Melrose Avenue stores with a full bridal collection of bespoke, made-to-order and current collection pieces, for private appointments only.
The House of Temperley has also expanded into lifestyle with Temperley scented candles and has plans to move into homewear, menswear and childrenswear.
The House produces 13 collections a year including; Cruise and Pre-Fall across the Temperley London and diffusion ALICE by Temperley line and 2 made-to-order bridal collections a year and key collaborations with leading British names such as the launch of Barbour Gold Label by Temperley in 2011.
The company operates 3 stand alone stores in London, Los Angeles and Dubai, and online stores for both lines at: temperleylondon.com and alicebytemperley.com. The lines are also currently available in over 200 doors across 35 countries worldwide.
The past ten years have earned the House of Temperley critical acclaim and devoted fans around the world, dressing Royalty to the red carpet. Amongst many others, Temperley London fans include; Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, Pippa Middleton, Demi Moore, Jennifer Lopez, Heidi Klum, Reese Witherspoon and Claudia Schiffer. ALICE by Temperley has been worn by a range of fans including Emma Watson, Jessica Biel, Beyonce, Rihanna and Dakota Fanning.
While constantly being expanded in breadth, the House of Temperley always stays true to its philosophy; appreciating what women want with creations that exist outside of the trend of the moment and always flavoured with a sense of Alice’s individual ‘magpie’ style.
The World of Temperley and its design philosophy is set to extend its influence, transforming it from one of Britain’s leading luxury brands to an all-encompassing lifestyle.

Designer Betsey Johnson walks the runway at the Betsey Johnson Spring 2012 fashion show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at The Theater at Lincoln Center on September 12, 2011 in New York City. Photos/Gettys
Betsey Johnson has never been one to follow trends and her spring 2012 collection was no exception. While many designers are leaning towards textured tops and mid-length skirts, Betsey chose sheers and loosely flowing bottoms, which were a pleasant divergence from her typical bubble and tulle skirts.
The sheer was, assumedly, to showcase her newly-blossoming lingerie line, to which she featured in her final walk , having the panty-clad models carrying A and T balloons (which stand for A Tisket, the lingerie line).
Betsey complimented her ultra-feminine style with ultra-high platform stiletto heels (giving a few of the models a run for their money). The collection was filled with Betsey’s go-to patterns like floral, cheetah print, and skulls, printed onto full-length skirts, wide leg pants and harem-style rompers. And, of course, Betsey’s fabulous line was not the sole entertainment of the night. Surprising audience members, Betsey danced down the runway, skipping up and down as the models took their final walk. At the end of the night, Betsey Johnson entertained.

Designer Raul Melgoza attends the Luca Luca Spring 2012 fashion show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at The Stage at Lincoln Center on September 9, 2011 in New York City.
Summary: Raul Melgoza, chief designer of Luca Luca, described before the show how he wanted the Spring 2012 collection to be all about sensuality. This is what he delivered and to a great standard.
Raul combined beautiful feminine and relaxed pieces with bold vibrant colours, including lime green and aqua. Raul also cleverly adopted one of Prada’s old tricks and used turbans throughout, this addition added extra class and zing to the designs. The silhouettes were generally relaxed, yet sensual. He used open backs, exposed shoulders, and took advantage of the models gorgeous legs with sexy thigh-high splits.
The material consisted of everything that is sensual, from silk to satin, all of which achieved a beautiful finish to his great tailoring. I loved the high-waisted trousers tucked into Raul’s perfect looking jackets. Some of which included stripes and prints.
Towards the end of the show, Raul presented us with a few gowns, including a white polka-dot piece and a luxurious aqua blue gown paired with a tiny metallic gold belt and bracelet. Raul wanted to give us sensuality and sensuality is what we got.

As seen in Shape Magazine.
This line contains some of the most decadent, spectacular pieces that Charm & Chain carries. Badgley Mischka’s designs have a jewel-centric and often Victorian aesthetic; they tend to meld ornate motifs with an “old money” quality that stops short of being too, too ostentatious.

We chat with Calvin Klein Collection Men’s Creative Director Italo Zucchelli about his Spring 2012 line.
GQ: What was your inspiration for the Spring ’12 collection?
Italo Zucchelli: Our Spring 2012 collection is very sporty and is based on a concept of “hyper dimension.” This refers to the textures of the fabrics and the shapes of the clothing and shoes.
GQ: How would you describe the collection?
Zucchelli: It’s colorful, clean American sportswear with a modern take on proportion, tones and texture, done in a sophisticated way. The collection also features new, interesting volumes and shapes.
GQ: What are some key pieces in the collection and how should they be worn?
Zucchelli: New for Spring 2012 is a sporty pant worn with a textured t-shirt, close to the body. Key this season are sharp suits with a summery, athletic feel. They are offered in sophisticated shades and paired with jersey t-shirts. For outerwear, lightweight nylons have an easy and effortless appeal.
