Looking great, Mariah! Now, about those twins photos of Moroccan and Monroe… can we see them already?!
By the way, Mariah’s dogs are named Jill E. Beans, Cha Cha, Squeak E. Beans, JJ, and Jackie Lambchops.

Singer Mariah Carey was photographed leaving UCLA Medical Center through the back entrance with her husband, Nick Cannon, and their newborn twins in the back. The singer and the twins have been in the hospital since giving birth on April 30. Pink and blue blankets covered little Morrocan and Monroe to prevent them making a premature debut to the world. Yes, Nick is pushing a Phantom.
Summary: On Saturday, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon left the hospital with their newborn twins in style. With Moroccan and Monroe in tow, the happy family drove off in a black Rolls Royce.
The twins were born on April 30, the couple’s anniversary, each weighing under 6 pounds. Four days later, the R&B singer announced their names on her official website.
The two-week stay at the hospital wasn’t all roses, though. Carey and Cannon have been under investigation by Child Protective Services after a nurse suggested the singer drink Guinness for its supposed breast-feeding benefits. Cannon said in an interview with Piers Morgan:
“It all started when a nurse suggested to my wife that if you drink Guinness, the dark beer, the yeast improves breastfeeding … I don’t know if someone heard that, but then they were saying my wife was drinking beer. People will do anything to try to conjure up a story.”
Out of precaution, the couple have already been visited by CPS, but the case should be closed after a short in-home visit, reports the Daily Mail. Until then, the twins will be enjoying their fabulous life, complete with a tricked-out nursery.
Just because she’s a new mom to twins, don’t expect Mariah Carey to lighten her work schedule.
In fact, the diva, 42, recorded a new album while she was pregnant with Monroe and Moroccan — and it’ll be out within the next few months, reveals her husband Nick Cannon.
“She’s planning on having a record out this year,” he says. “She’s been working away, and we have a studio in the crib, and the pregnancy has totally inspired her on so many different levels. You’re definitely gonna see some new phenomenal music from Mariah.”
Carey’s songs also played a big role during the April 30 birth of her children.
Her 2005 single “We Belong Together” was playing during the delivery. Originally, she wanted the live version of her song “Fanstasy” to play “so they came out to a round of applause,” adds Cannon.
Carey’s last album was 2009’s “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel.”
Cannon, 30, will have a new album out soon, as well. In addition to a musical accompanyment to his “Mr. Showbiz” comedy special, he’s also planning a future effort featuring collaborations with Snoop Dogg, Cee Lo, Flo Rida and others. “We got some hilarious songs,” he says. “It’s kind of bringing the fun back to hip-hop.”
