She’s clad in pieces from the 2011 fall Louis Vuitton collection: a strappy leather corseted blouse and one of the mini-masks that adorned the hats in the show. In the editorial to match, she’ll apparently be “vamp[ing] it up in lace and leather.” She’s also billed on the cover lines as “the original supermodel” — which means, out there somewhere, Janice Dickinson is giving her some serious side-eye.

The beautiful 40-year-old German model Claudia Schiffer has recently launched the Cashmere Collection, a line of clothes that reflect her personal style. Now that the timing was perfect for her to venture on this road, the supermodel created a lovely feminine line of “clothes that I would want to wear”. Farves, these are all part of the cozy Cashmere Collection by Claudia Schiffer. Priced between £295 and £435 ($485 and $710), each piece was designed “for women who don’t have much time in the morning to get dressed, yet want to look chic”, as Schiffer herself describes the collection.

Super Model Heidi Klum Launches Her Own Range Of Costume Jewelry With Qvc

29 Jun

Heidi Klum has launched her own range of costume jewellery with QVC.

Wildlife by Heidi Klum will debut on the shopping channel on September 8, and will be her second accessories collection for QVC following her ill-fated fine jewellery line that folded in 2009 when jeweller Van Cleef & Arpels sued for copyright infringement.

She told WWD, ‘We fought with Van Cleef & Arpels for over a year and a half, but we were a small fry next to a company like that. But looking back, I’m quite happy to be doing something new.’

The new products will come in 35 styles, ranging in price from $30 to $200, and will be made from materials like antique silverstone, brasstone, and simulated gemstones.

‘All of the pieces are statement pieces,’ Klum said, adding that she takes inspiration from flea markets. ‘The only reason to wear costume jewellery is to wear something large – something you can’t do with real jewellery because it would be too expensive.’

Naomi Campbell Upset Over Cadbury Chocolate Racey Ad Campaign

1 Jun

Naomi Campbell’s ‘Cadbury’ race row has taken another turn, after the supermodel revealed she is considering “every option available” following the chocolate giant’s refusal to pull a controversial ad campaign. Naomi Campbell became incensed after the company allegedly compared her to a chocolate bar in new promotional material, reports Cnn.

Campbell is accusing Cadbury of racism after a strap line to promote its new ‘Bliss’ chocolate bar read, “Move over Naomi – there is a new diva in town”. Campbell reacted angrily to the campaign, saying, “I am shocked. It’s upsetting to be described as chocolate, not just for me, but for all black women and black people. I do not find any humour in this. It is insulting and hurtful”. The confectionary company, run by US giant Kraft, refused to pull the campaign despite Campbell’s grievances. The model’s mother Valerie Morris echoed her daughter’s comments, saying, “I’m deeply upset by this racist advert. Do these people think they can insult black people and we just take it? This is the 21st century, not the 1950s. Shame on Cadbury”. The campaign group ‘Operation Black Vote’ has also called for Cadbury to apologise, with spokesman Simon Woolley saying, “Racism in the playground starts with black children being called ‘chocolate bar’. At best, this is insensitive, and at worst it demonstrates Cadbury’s utter disregard for causing offence”.

Naomi Campbell would not confirm online reports that she plans to call for a boycott of Cadbury products, however, she is allegedly considering legal action.

Gisele Bundchen’s Shows Her Brazilian Intimate Lingerie Line

20 May

Gisele Bündchen hits the runway in her own line of lingerie.

Those years as a Victoria’s Secret Angel clearly weren’t wasted on Gisele Bündchen.

The supermodel swapped her wings (she parted ways with the brand in 2007) for feathers and tassels as she presented her new Gisele Bündchen Brazilian Intimate lingerie line for Hope during a May 12 Sao Paolo, Brazil, runway show.

The stunner, who has previously teamed up with Hope for its lingerie campaigns, proudly showed off her designs for the label, including a pale pink satin bra-and-brief set accessorized with a giant bow in back, Lucite platform heels, and a crystal-studded sheer shrug embellished with clusters of champagne-hued fringe.

The Valentine’s Day collection—in Brazil, Dia dos Namorados is celebrated June 12—also revealed a black satin bra with sheer detailing and crisscross straps, which the highest-earning model paired with a dramatic feather headdress, black sequin bow bustle, and dominatrix-worthy gloves and riding crop.

Bündchen also donned a black feather-trimmed set complete with a caged bustle contraption around the waist, while fellow catwalkers took to the runway in neon pink and yellow ruffled getups, animal-print bustiers, and elaborate headgear that would make Princess Bea do a double take.

“Life is made of dreams and I’m very happy to announce that now you will know the Brazilian intimate,” the 30-year-old told attendees. “My dream come true is for Hope. With you, Gisele Bündchen Brazilian Intimate. Enjoy the show.”
