It is to be expected that Alisa Maria would be one of the most talented and creative fashion stylists in the industry.  Influenced from the time she was a child watching classic movies like Gone with the Wind and Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Alisa Maria has always drawn inspiration from legendary Hollywood actresses such as Sophia Loren, Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroe, Grace Kelly and many more. Her love of old Hollywood gives a touch of nostalgia and glamour to her work.

Alisa Maria’s initial love affair with fashion was born as a teenager in high school when she purchased her first Gucci bag and shoes, and when she gave styling advice to all of her friends. Alisa went on to pursue acting, modeling and dancing, but always came back to her love of styling. During her journey she designed her own Alisa Maria Private Label luxury fur and python line. Gwyneth Paltrow Is The New Face Of Coach’s International Marketing Campaign

Academy Award-winning actress, Gwyneth Paltrow is the new face of Coach’s international marketing campaign. Coach, a luxury handbag maker will debut the ads featuring the actress exclusively overseas in select European and Asian markets, according to the Associated Press, where the company has labeled key places for expansion.

Coach has confirmed that the leggy, blond actress and cookbook author will be its new international brand ambassador to mark its 70th anniversary campaign this fall and into the spring, reports Women’s Wear Daily.

“I grew up in New York City and I’ve always thought of Coach as the quintessential New York brand,” Paltrow said. “I’ll never forget getting my first Coach bag.”

Coach’s creative director called Paltrow, who has posed for Christian Dior and Estee Lauder a “natural choice”for the brand’s celebration.

The brand is cranking up the heat to celebrate its big anniversary. Not only have they bagged Paltrow, but the company is rereleasing five of its classic designs from the 1970s, through Net-a-Porter.

The styles include a bucket bag, a duffel, a hobo, a menswear-briefcase style and a small shoulder purse with thick, unfinished and features simple turn-lock hardware.

The Classics collection will range in price from $300 to $500 and will be available starting June 15.

Jennifer Lopez And Marc Anthony To Launch His and Her’s Clothing Line Fall 2011

(Reuters) – Celebrity couple Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony will launch a line of clothes and accessories at Kohl’s Corp’s mid-priced department stores next fall, the company said on Thursday.

The Jennifer Lopez collection will feature women’s dresses, sportswear, handbags and jewelry, while that of her husband Marc Anthony will have men’s dress shirts, ties, sport coats and shoes. The his-and-hers line may expand into home accessories over time, Kohl’s said.

Singer and actress Lopez was involved in fashion design at least as far back as 2001, when she launched the New York City-based Sweetface Fashion Company.

Lopez and Anthony, a five-time Grammy winner, will collaborate with Kohl’s on the design of the new products.

Music Entertainment Sports Holdings, a division of Hong Kong-based Li & Fung’s U.S. division, will sub-license the brands exclusively to Kohl’s under a long-term agreement.
